Teacher
Beth has been teaching restorative, yin, vinyasa, chair and kids yoga for over 10 years. She began teaching yoga in Tryon, NC. After practicing for many years for her own health, she decided to become an instructor in 2016. She trained with Holy Yoga, which is Christ centered, to enrich her own faith and share her spiritual journey with others. Beth became a ERYT 500 Teacher in 2026.
Beth has been a Physician Assistant for over 38 years. Her inspiration for teaching yoga started in her orthopedic practice and her desire to help her patients increase their movement, keep momentum in preparation for surgery and assisting them in healing postoperatively. She is now retired from medicine, yet uses her knowledge to help assist in alignment and prevention of injury for her yoga students.
She has been practicing at 90 Degrees Yoga for years and is happy to officially be a teacher here. Beth recently completed a community class project for the blind called Foresight. She hopes to continue to grow Foresight to bring awareness and assist the blind community explore the benefits of yoga.
