Michael began his personal yoga practice in 2000. He is passionate about studying, practicing and teaching yoga. His classes incorporate the Yoga Sutras, mantras, breath work and somatic grounding techniques in a vinyasa power flow with deep stretching. His approach encourages the connection between mind, body and breath while building strength and flexibility. Michael also focuses on proper alignment of postures, encourages the use of modifications and props, and humbly speaks to his yoga journey. He believes it’s never too late to begin practicing yoga and yoga is for everyone.
Michael received his RYT200 certification in 2021 at The Yatra Center Yoga School and is currently pursuing his RYT500 advanced teacher certification with Allison Cross.
